You need a mosquito net on the window in the summer! Upon arrival, the room needed to be aired. So, I opened the window (lights off since it was in the afternoon). Mosquitos immediately entered the room. So when it got incredibly hot at night, we had to decide whether to suffer the heat or to suffer mosquito bites.
The bathroom was extremely small. It was quite new but already mouldy.
The ventilation system in the bathroom was triggered... by the movement in the bathroom, not by the moisture level or lights on. Meaning that it went on (very loudly) on every trip to the bathroom, even just to grab something. This ventilation system was also so noisy that it was disturbing even when it went on in neighbouring rooms.
We booked the property because we needed a fridge. Well, it didn't work. When we addressed the issue with the (nicer) receptionist at the check out, the only reaction was asking if it was on. No idea, there was no on-off button. It was not cooling.
The Minibar in the common area has been introduced as a... "honesty-fridge" meaning that the guests would pay for consumption. Well, not sure who their target audience is supposed to be, but usually it is obvious that guests would pay for consumption without being reminded to be honest.
The cherry on top of the cake was a mouldy apple in the room. Not sure how it was supposed to contribute to the pleasant stay.
