Exceptional

Highly Recommended Private Villa with Gardens

This is an exceptional property in an exceptional location. This is an ideal place to use as your home-base to explore the mid-lakes region of Lake Como. The privacy hillside gardens and multiple large patios make this property truly unique. We really enjoyed our evenings in the billiards room at the top of the tower.

(NOTE: There is not a complaint about the property.) We first came to Varenna 12 years ago, before this amazing little town was "discovered". Now, it is very much overrun with tourists. Even the shop owners complain. This shouldn't keep you away... it's an absolutely lovely town; just plan to visit during the middle of the week (Tuesday to Thursday) when the crowds are much lighter.
