This villa is not worth the money.
We spent 8 nights at Villa Natalia and I have to say they were some of the most uncomfortable days weve had abroad.
The villa was clean. However, it is obvious it has not been maintained particularly well. The representative in Cyprus (and the owner in London) whilst contactable were not particularly accommodating.
There was no meet and greet, even though the owner had requested confirmation several times of the time of our arrival. We got a text from the rep giving instructions regarding access. Upon entering, the villa smelt as if it had been empty for a while. There were no housekeeping instructions, eg. wifi password, air con controls, hot water, rubbish disposal etc. Also, be warned if you are arriving late at night, as there will be no welcome pack to keep you going until you can get to the shops.
In the lounge, wall lights didnt work (bulbs out), and the furniture is extremely worn with stained chair upholstery. Air con is very noisy in the lounge and in the 2nd double bedroom doesnt work at all, as mentioned by a review from September 2020. Two years later and still not fixed. Also, the curtains cant be closed in this room. The study (4th bedroom) does not have air con. Despite the description stating TV beware; the TV is set up to receive Russian channels, although we did manage to find You Tube. This was only after we had to request batteries for the TV remote (these were absent) and the set top box. These were delivered by the rep on the 3rd day of our 8 day stay.
The kitchen is well fitted (1 lightbulb out) but there are not enough cups and glasses for full occupation. However, there were enough plates etc. Unfortunately, this villa has a problem with ants and the worktops and appliances in the kitchen had to be cleaned every morning and evening to keep on top of the problem. This villa would be ideal for a myrmecologist.
