Exceptional

Best views and location in my opinion! 5 out of 5 stars!

I loved the location! We would get up early and walk down to Maiori and find fantastic pastries and coffee. We also loved the fresh fruits and vegetables we could pick up and take back to the Villa. There was nothing missing when we wanted to cook for ourselves instead of heading to town. The scenery of overlooking the Med was just breath taking! I would recommend staying at Villa Scarlato to anyone that wants to live the European lifestyle. The landlord was very accomadating, especially with transfers and helping us when our flights were delayed.

Walk down the mountain was fine, walking back up was a little challenging and I used it for my cardio daily! :). It would not be good for older couples needing to go to town that may have health issues.

Exceptional

Absolutely beautiful! Couldn't wished for a better place to stay!

This was probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The view is more stunning than the pictures give it justice. The villa is lovely and decorated perfectly, the host has thought through every detail. The bedrooms are a large and airy with extremely comfortable bed's, each with their own beautiful view. The outside terraces were perfect for breakfast or dinners, the views unforgettable. I thank the host and their family for sharing their beautiful home for others. It is truly so lovely to see. The attention to detail is stunning, down to the tiles in each of the rooms.

There wasn't anything we didn't like! Some small feedback would be to possibly be de-weed the upstairs BBQ area where the table was, but nothing that made much of a difference! The location is great but I would definitely suggest having a car as although the town is walkable, it's about a 20 minute walk on quite a tough wind'y road; not including a big supermarket etc. Though the host will be more than happy to help you find a car rental or something similar! Also side note, there are 3 bathrooms not 5 as stated on the site.
