It is a beautiful hidden gem, rooms are amazing staff are wonderful even helped me keep it a surprise from my partner who thought we were just going for dinner.. food was scrumptious with no long waits. Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The view of the gold course n Devon hillside is just beautiful also

Very nice, comfortable stay

Location and price. Recently renovated which was also a highlight.

We didnt arrive until after 9pm and the poor lad on reception was waiting for us so he could go home as soon as he showed us to our room. The hotel then was completely locked up which I found strange. Our room also smelt strongly of damp. The bathroom floor was freezing cold and extremely slippery (slightly concerning as we were with our 3 year old).

The location is beautiful. If and when the full renovation is completed it could be stunning

The courtyard room looks impressive. Dog friendly which is ok but I have an assistance dog and could have been put in a room in the main building. The bathroom was cold with inadequate heating source. Shower and room needs deep clean.
