The building is very impressive and set in beautiful grounds. The interior is tastefully designed and furnished and the interior was thoughtfully laid out.

Being partially disabled I find climbing stairs difficult and painful and the lack of a lift seemed an unfortunate lack of forethought and an obstacle which might result with a decision not to return to this venue in the future.

excellent breakfast. waiting staff were very good. first cup of tea in the morning was superb

noise from an extractor in the kitchen. it was loud. the floor felt like it was vibrating. traffic noise was also loud.

Location, staff and facilities are all amazing

The food, unfortunately on this occasion the chips were not very nice with my steak. Undercooked and too thick, there should be an option to swap for skinny fries. I also wanted an egg added to my steak order but was told this couldnt be done.

From the online photographs and menu our expectations of our stay were high - they were exceeded!

Dinner was excellent - the choice and quality of the food; impeccable service; lovely room and table setting. Our bedroom was spacious and well appointed - large and very comfortable bed. The setting in the large gardens is lovely.
