Where do I even begin with this disaster of a hotel? Xenones Filotera Hotel in Imerovigli, Santorini, has left me utterly appalled and disgusted by their complete lack of professionalism and customer service. My experience here was nothing short of a nightmare.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a seemingly friendly staff member who proudly showed us to our "upgraded" apartment. Little did we know that this so-called upgrade would turn out to be the stuff of our worst nightmares.
At the evening my daughter has decided to try outside jacuzzi and while it was happening we noticed a horrifying infestation of cockroach crawling all over the jacuzzi. It was utterly revolting and completely unacceptable. At first we thought that it is some weird random situation that might happen. Unfortunately after a day or two we entered the battlefield of cockroaches killed by jacuzzi cleaning staff which were laying outside of our apartment.
We immediately demanded a refund and informed the hotel manager of the dire situation. Instead of offering a sincere apology or any form of compensation, the manager merely promised that the issue would be resolved promptly. We decided that we could not stay another minute in this nightmarish establishment. We insisted on our refund for the nights we had booked but chose not to stay. The manager, once again, made empty promises of reimbursement, assuring us that our money would be returned promptly.
To no one's surprise, our refund never materialized. We tried contacting the hotel multiple times, but they conveniently ignored our calls and emails. It's abundantly clear that Xenones Filotera Hotel has no intention of honoring their commitment to their guests or providing even basic levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
In summary, this hotel is an absolute disaster and should be avoided at all costs.
