Many would say the view as first response but for me it was the staff. Friendly, helpful and happy - this was the first thing I noticed and helped me relax into the surrounds.
The roof top was closed - understandably the pool and bar as it was December, but went to have an evening stroll before heading out and it was locked by 7pm. Possibly a safety reason or similar but no info on door so not sure. Daylight hours was able to go outside and enjoy my coffee

A fantastic stay. As my son said, "this is the best hotel room we've stayed in."
Absolutely loved this hotel. The views from our room and the roof deck, the location, the design of the hotel, and the service were all fantastic. We would absolutely stay there again.
The hotel is a little expensive, but there's just not much that we didn't like. We enjoyed our trip tremendously.

Overall an outstanding stay!!
Breakfast was great. Service was great.
View was hyped up on the website to include Brooklyn Bridge. We had a distant view of the river.

The roof! What a view!
The noise. The music after 6:30pm makes it impossible to hear. The coffee shop is terrible. Rather, the staff is untrained and not really into their jobs. Big contrast with the hotel staff.

Great location. Amazing City views. Shame we had to endure the storm of the century!!!
Our bathroom and hall way was very dark. Difficult finding things in your cases and getting dressed!

Loved it .. beautiful place .
Fantastic place .. loved every minute . Very high standard as far as hotels in America are concerned . Better than any hotels I have ever stayed in and that includes a few in Manhattan with a high profile and prices to match . Keep doing what you are doing guys .. the girls in the coffee shop could be friendlier and listen to the orders - I wont hold it against them however . I will be back .
As previously mentioned .. the coffee shop was a disaster for me .. perhaps me English accent threw them , on four occasions, ordered my coffee .. four times it wasnt what I ordered.

Calm and peaceful ambience with beautiful plants and greenery . Exceptionally helpful, lovely staff. Good food in restaurant
Design of bathroom meant light penetrated the room if other person was sleeping
