Great location, huge room, free WiFi and very good value for money.
Slightly faded grandeur. Quite dated in some parts, could do with a bit of a refurb but overall, nice hotel.

Because the Hotel we were told unfortunately was closed till April 2024 Eventually we were offered an alternative Hotel in their group The Grand Hotel This Hotel was extremely busy with various private Christmas Parties we ordered some food from the busy Bar but waited nearly an hour but only got one meal somehow they had not passed on order to the kitchen!! Went to room but couldnt sleep due to noise ,guests talking and laughing loudly

Didn't actually get to stay at Abbey sands as it was closed for the winter but my booking was transferred to Thr Grand at no extra cost the staff were very friendly and room was locely

WE GOT TO ABBEY SANDS TO FIND IT SHUT, WE STAYED AT A SISTER HOTEL THE GRAND WHICH WAS VERY NICE
POOL WAS FAR TO COLD AT GRAND HOTEL
