On Friday, November 3, 2023, I was out and about handling business matters when my husband and business partner phoned me from our Hilton Gardens Hotel Room. He said there was a lady on the other line named Gloria who demanded that he leave the room or she would call the police and have him removed. He said he tried to explain that our reservations had been extended for two additional days, but Gloria was being very mean, nasty and unreasonable. She told him he was lying and she did not see a reservation on the computer. I asked him to put Gloria on speaker so that I could speak with her.
I explained to Gloria that I had called and requested a 2-day extension on our reservation and had been told by someone at the front desk the extension was granted and the matter had been handled. I further explained to Gloria that I would be returning back to the Hotel in 45 minutes and I would stop by to handled the matter. Gloria told us, "If you are not out of that room in 15 minutes I will call the police and have you and your things removed from the room." Needless to say, I dropped everything and headed back to the Hotel as quickly as possible. When I stopped by the front desk, "Sephora" was the acting front desk attendant. I identified myself and asked her why we were be treated so disrespectful and badly. I further told her that I was Hilton Honors member and had been for years. Sephora told me that I did not have reservations and asked if I could produce a confirmation number. When I checked my email, I discovered that I'd never received one. Sephora insisted that nothing could be done. So I went to our room and began to pack as quickly as I could. Gloria called again and said if were not out in 10 min, she'd charge an extra day. Gloria had two cleaning women wait outside our door. While we were loading our luggage on a rack, I overhead one of the women tell Gloria we were leaving. Gloria harassed us unmercifully.
