Location, complimentary snacks and drinks, clean comfortable bed, bathroom was spacious with tub and good products.
Had stayed here prior and thought I had booked same room,but this one was smaer without the separation lounge room

Great place for a stylish, convenient and affordable couples getaway in the city
Friendly staff. Great touches like welcome drinks, free snacks and non-alcohol drinks in room. Comfortable room with stylish finishes. $16 parking in the city and right next door is a big win.
Pool area was a bit tired but looks like it is being updated.

We liked its inner city proximity
Room decor was a little underwhelming. Presentation of the menu doesnt do the menu the justice it deserves. Whilst sitting waiting for our breakfast I observed the fan in the bar area requires a clean, there is one shiny ceiling tile that looks like its not secured properly. There was white tape joining floor to wall that was coming away. Bar glass storage racks held together with zip ties. Presentation of reception staff differs.- the first guy we had was casual dressed then, the next was pressed pants and crisp shirtonly one electrical socket on one side of the bed available for use - use a cpap machine and couldnt sleep on my preferred side because I couldnt plug in equipment.

Great city staycation!
The staff were super friendly and informative. The location was perfect- central to everything you need in Melbourne (e.g. trams, trains, the best restaurants, the Yarra, sporting arenas).
The pool, although meant to be heated, was freezing cold. Didn't stop the kids but was not pleasant as an adult to have to jump in and join them...
Also the sheets were very stiff and so a bit noisy but the beds were super comfortable.

The Adelphi has a wonderful ambience. The cocktail bar on the 2nd floor was wonderful as was the rooftop bar area. I booked the delux king room and it was incredibly comfortable. Bed, linen all luxurious. Bathroom was dynamite. BUT the staff were the most outstanding. Headed by Ahmed every detail was taken care of. Incredibly attentive and professional. They went way above and beyond to make my birthday a spectacularly memorable one. Would highly recommend. Top class.

Great location. Modern, free mini bar, welcome glass of sparkling, awesome cocktails, amazing breakfast!
Access.
I was on crutches and there is no wheelchair access.
Staff were very helpful taking me to the back of the hotel to take me up in the service lift, but even then, there were 2 steps to navigate.
It was fine for me and honestly the staff were amazingly helpful, but its something for people to be mindful of if access is an issue.
