The lady we spoke with over the phone was only keen for me to make the upfront payment on UPI which I did , shortly after arrival the remainder payment was demanded for which we also paid only after which we were shown to the room which was extremely damp, cold and wet. Most of the walls were covered with a white fungus that was flying around with the slightest movement of air. The bed was damp and the blankets and pillows were reeking of mildew. I must mention that when we spoke to the lady over the phone who confirmed our say we were assured of restaurant facilities that were supposed to be available in addition a camp fire, neither which was found to be existing. After driving for over 30 Km to the resort which was situated high up on a mountain we discovered that there was no food available as the cook was on leave. We were subsequently informed that Zomato made deliveries to the resort which turned out to be a total hoax as Zomato was not making deliveries to the resort. We called a restaurant that was willing to take out order but refused to make deliveries , hence it left us only with the option of driving out again in the rain to have lunch from the restaurant which was located several km away.
When asked about the campfire we were told that the firewood was wet due to the rain and it would be impossible to hold a campfire. The dampness and wetness in the room is worth re-mentioning as the room reeked of mildew and there were spores growing out of the walls that made us wonder whether it was the new art of interior decoration. There was no room heater or a fireplace and our entire stay was ruined totally.
The room price for a night totaled approximately 7k and it was a zero value for money. We had to make two trips all the way to the town just to procure food and it was not a memorable experience.
I wouldnt recommend this to anyone who is in their right state of mind provided you are in your right state of mind.
