    The Alvalade Palace is a clean and comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast and friendly staff. It is conveniently located near the airport, making it a good choice for those needing easy access to (Read More) flights. Although there is no elevator, the staff ensure that guests with mobility issues are taken care of. The hotel has a lovely terrace and is surrounded by beautiful old buildings. Some guests found the rooms lacking in storage space and felt that the breakfast room was too cold. Overall, it is recommended for a short stay near the airport.

    Easy enough to get into the historical district by taxi.
    Breakfast was good. It was offered as early as 7:30, so early risers could take advantage of the meal. The room was clean, but a little small. The location was excellent because I needed accommodation close to the airport.
    There was no space in the room to open a suitcase except on the bed, which I am not inclined to do. There was supposed to be someone available 24/7, but a guest was banging on the front door at 4:22 a.m. for several minutes before they were answered.

    Comfortable, Clean and Friendly
    Situated in a former villa, this hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable with a beautiful outdoor patio. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived early but the staff made extra efforts to accommodate us. The property is very close to the airport. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. We would highly recommend.

    Had a pleasant stay before my early morning flight, location was very convenient.
    The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful!
    It wasnt a traditional hotel with a typical reception- so the check-in process was a bit tricky outside of the check-in hour. All in all no big deal, just wish I knew it beforehand.

    My stay was only ok ! The staff are simply amazing the room very disappointing
    The old worldliness of it had a lovely atmosphere
    The room 101 was tiny and very noisy doors banging loud voices in the hall no where to put u case, that room is for someone with only carry on, not someone who has been travelling for a month with a large suitcase

    Quiet clean accommodation near airport with good public bus system.
    Location was convenient to airport. Mattress was exceptional! Facility was quiet for sleeping. Nice view of garden. Directions to guest house were very accurate!
    No glasses in bathroom. Difficult fixtures in shower very easy to get burnt!
