There were minor issues with the run-down changing rooms at the spa, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and appreciated the vegan options offered.

    Bar meal was awful and expensive for what it was. Described as a slider it was a poorly made burger with frozen chips. No bananas at breakfast, however this seems to be the case in the majority of hotels

    Beautiful old castle inside and out. Very friendly helpful staff.
    Breakfast menu was self service mostly and not great quality also the Hot chocolate was not good.

    Good hotel. Breakfast could be better.
    Room was spacious and clean. Beds comfy and generally good ambience in hotel. Nice to have swimming pool and good gym.

    The room was nice and comfy, and the bar service was very good . Breakfast was fine
    The food in the restaurant was terrible and overpriced. I ordered a seafood platter and ended up with about 10 normal size prawns and a couple of little chunks of smoked salmon with a teaspoon of pate (not worth the 14 price!!!). The main course of Thai green curry was okay but the chicken seemed undercooked.

    Lovely hotel but they need to do better as a 4 star hotel
    The hotel is beautiful and the food is fabulous and it offers great value for money.
    Where the dog rooms are located. Its a trek to get to these rooms. No concierge which meant we had to lug everything to the rooms three times there and back. No staff offered to help! That was really quite disappointing. There was no Bucks Fizz offered on Christmas morning either, which wasnt good. No Christmas atmosphere on Christmas morning.
