I had high expectations for our family Christmas break and Norwood Hall did not live up to this.

Good location. Lovely large clean rooms. Tapestry Restaurant food excellent. Great place for a mini break but Carvery Christmas Lunch rubbish.

Stayed over Christmas and chose the Carvery Christmas Lunch. I wish I had paid extra and taken the Tapestry Restaurant Christmas Lunch but thought the Carvery seemed the best option for my 92 year old mum. Staff inexperienced and some didnt have a clue. No warm plates. Water wasnt automatically put on the table and I had to ask for this along with bread rolls and drinks after seeing these on other tables. The food was over cooked, cold and not worth the 96 per person! It was like a cattle market and they obviously tried to cram as many people as possible into the room. This totally ruined our Christmas. This is not the service I expect from such a prestigious venue.

Friendly and helpful staff, good food and great choice of breakfast items. Rooms are large and comfortable and everything is very clean.

Extremely disappointed

Lovely hotel, staff were excellant

Room had no heating. Reallocated to another room. In the morning absolutely no hot water in bathroom. Other guests had also complained. Receptionist told us there was an ongoing issue with the hot water system. Disappointed they take bookings knowing these issues exist. Will not return or use Mcdonald hotels again.
