    I absolutely loved staying at Chakra Travern. The owner is an angel who deeply cares about her guests. I haven't experienced this kind of loving hospitality since traveling in New Zealand 20 years ago. The building has huge open common areas, a nice garden and an incredible roof terrace with amazing views of the mountains. There's plenty of space for your morning workout or yoga session. Don't let you fool by the old school looks. Believe me, there's a magical and kind energy in these walls that will embrace you once you have entered. During my stay the people who arrived and left were all very conscious and open. People actually talked to each other instead of just staring at their phones. Last but not least there is a great choice of excellent food on the menu and the kitchen is open all day. I will definitely return to Chakra Tavern next time I am in the area.

    A beautiful oasis from where you can explore Ubud and surroundings.
    The atmosphere is just wonderful. Very peaceful and the staff is very welcoming and hospitable. The restaurant serves delicious food and the garden is very beautiful with a large enough pool. The room (cottage) is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The location is at 20 min bike ride from the centre of Ubud. By car it can take longer when the roads are congested (in high season). I liked the location for the quietness - when you want you go to the hustle and bustle of Ubud and when you are tired you have your little oasis to come back to. Perfect.

    The staff was very kind, every single person that I've met, always smiling, kind and happy to help you. Breakfast very good and copious. My bungalow has a beautiful view. The room service was very fast. The room was very clean and nice. Maybe the food in the restaurant is a little expensive to me. But the hotel is beautiful, swimming pool, rooms and garden very well maintained.
    Maybe the food in the restaurant that I've found quite expensive. But breakfast amazing ;-)

    Amazing location, amazing food ... Very very humble and accommodating staff.. Quick service .. Its was really an amazing experience. The One Bedroom villa is really private and cozy. the service differentiate the Villa from other properties. Front desk officer : Ayu has been very kind and supportive through out the stay and also from the time the reservation was made. Quick responses to queries and endless efforts to make our stay a memorable one.
    The lighting in the room should be a little bright and optional to keep it dim basis guest preference

    The restaurant need some more food variety. The accommodation needs to have people with experience to offer guidance to the younger staff.
