The room at the avid hotel Tulsa South - Medical District had too much furniture, making it difficult to move around. However, the shower and water pressure were excellent. There were some issues wit (Read More)h the cleanliness of the towels, with dirty towels not being replaced properly. The towels provided were also described as smallish. On the positive side, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and there were plenty of plug-ins for charging devices. The area was considered safe but not very walkable. Overall, the hotel was praised for its cleanliness and good location in Tulsa.

Good stay. Breakfast was lacking but otherwise my stay was fine.
Pet fee is reasonable and it was quiet.
The breakfast was really poor.

The hotel met our needs and we would consider staying there again when in the area.
The large visiting area downstairs was a neat gathering place for meeting with others. The hotel was kept very clean! The brewing machine for coffee downstairs was awesome but time consuming so be prepared to wait. There were plenty of storage options for our things via shelves, hooks, and seating areas too.
Breakfast options were limited and not well stocked when we went downstairs.

No consideration was offered to guides impact be the behavior of a large booking
There is great overall value during the Tulsa Gun Show weekend as long as there is no ongoing riot throughout the hotels by adolescent cheerleading and their adolescent parents! God, I wish I could have recorded the events for posterity, but there are social values that we must respect when video-recording adolescents. Of course, I'm referring to both the children and parents; it could have been an Animal House Toga Party fueled by Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate, Wine Spritzer, Michelob Ultra, and endless consumption of sugar-laced snacks.
The hotel was overrun by cheerleading teams of young girls and their families and was a two-night train wreck. They eat a lot of the food, alcohol, and wine bottles left everywhere and make noise all night. The staff works hard to keep the children in check. The parents did nothing to manage the girls. They were all to business with the adult party. I take my hat off to the staff for doing their best. NO ONE in the hotel got any sleep at the hotel, and we were unable to find other accommodations in town during the Tulsa gun show. And yet no discount or adjustment was offered, which is very disappointing.
