The couches and bed were very uncomfortable; the bed looked lofty and comfortable to the eye, but as soon as you laid down you sank deep into a human-shaped pit that made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. The couches were very squeaky, and stiff and we couldn't sit on them for long without feeling sharp pains in our backs. One couch was really torn up too, probably due to the acceptance of animals in the unit.
The kitchen has a few drawers with loose knives, and other sharp cooking utensils. Our toddler immediately found and opened these drawers, as they're at her height, and we had to move them for everyone's safety. It also wasn't safe for us to reach into a drawer to retrieve a fork, only to be speared by a knife. Get a knife block, or a magnetic strip.
On our final day the ceiling in the kitchen started leaking after a rain. It made the counter and floor wet, which were not convenient or safe.
Upon arrival we noticed that the mini fridge wasn't cold. Some of our food went to waste because we couldn't properly store it. There were broken pieces of the fridge inside as well.
The unit may be dog-proof but certainly not toddler-proof. No outlet protectors, sharp metal corners exposed on the bed frame, and easily accessible meat cleavers in the kitchen.
Internet connection was very poor.
Neighbors were loud and did not obey the quiet hours.
