    The Best Western Historic Area received positive reviews for its friendly and efficient staff, tasty breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and convenient location near Busch Gardens and William and (Read More) Mary College. Guests appreciated the helpfulness and accommodating nature of the staff, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms. One minor issue mentioned was a vending machine on the 3rd floor that did not dispense items from the top row. Overall, guests had a pleasant and satisfying stay at the hotel.

    Good experience with possible improvements
    Indoor pool open until 11 pm, very big.
    Breakfast was overcrowded, the normal operating time is 7 to 9am but from 8 no seats were available and most requested food was scarce, probably they should consider an extension of the hours on busiest days.

    The staff was very h helpful and gracious. So nice to have laundry facilities. It was very helpful.
    I can't think of anything we didn't like. We didn't try the pool so I can't comment on that.

    The mattress was quite uncomfortable. The bathroom floor seemed to be needing to be glued down as all the tiles moved and made noise.

    Convenient but a little pricey for the age of the hotel.
    Location, availability, indoor pool and hot tub, and hot breakfast with the daily menu posted. Loved having access to coffee 24 hours
    The rooms and hallways need to be updated and the bathrooms need vent fans, and new linens. The seating arrangements at the breakfast area need to be changed to allow more space at the bar area along with placing plates and silverware at the hot end of the bar (it was confusing trying to figure out where the line started and which direction to go). Also, a waffle maker instead of frozen breakfast sandwiches would have been better. Someone was smoking in one of the rooms on our floor and the entire floor reeked of cigarette smoke and weed!
