The aggressiveness and inability to listen from the staff was absolutely horrendous. The manager whose name was Matt was condescending, rude, and down right uncaring about the safety and situation I was put in. During my stay, guests from across the hall from my room aggressively banged on my door (around 10:30pm) and when I answered the guest barged herself into my room and started berating me with questions. I politely asked her to stay her distant and she continued to be rude with me. We shut the door on her and no more than 15 mins later, the second guest from the room across the hall did the same thing. Banged on our door, got rude and in our face/room before we had to remove him and shut the door forcefully for our safety.
Around 15 mins later, the manager - Matthew - came to the door to analyze the situation and said that we've gotten a complaint for being too loud. We apologized, and tried to explain our situation with the other guests being forceful but he cut me off and said he'd had to inspect the room. After coming in, he said "no, this isn't going to work" and proceeded to say we needed to leave the hotel. At this rate, he was not accommodating to listen to our side, had no care whatsoever about our safety and insisted that if we did not leave he would call the police. This "manager" had no care for me and my guests safety as we were guest from out of country and instead only cared about getting us.
The cops showed up 10 mins later to ask us what happened and we politely explained our situation. The cops were understanding, said this happens often at this hotel and unfortunately said they still had to proceed to remove us. So, my guests and I were forced to leave to fend for ourselves without any protection from the Best Western.
I am appalled at the lack of guest service from the "manager" Matthew of that place as he does not know how to talk to guests nor does he show any kindness to people.
