When we checked in, staff didn't tell us that the water was off in the unit they had put us in. We had to find out from a guest staying in the same unit. When I called about it, I was told a text was sent out to everyone. I explained that I didn't get a text because I just checked in and should have been told at the time of check-in. The staff proceeded to tell me that they just found out, so that's probably why I wasn't told (yet they knew long enough to text guests that were already there, but they didn't know)
I did get a text later on saying the water will be on for a little bit and will be shut down at 2 pm and again in the middle of the night for repairs. We had a trickle of water if we got any that wasn't brown. The next morning, we again only had a trickle of water in the sinks and one shower... didn't have water at all in one of the bathrooms, and then within 30 minutes of getting any water, we had none.
I called again, and the front desk was surprised that we still didn't have water. They finally sent maintenance out. The first guy that came ended up getting his supervisor because he was surprised we had no water. The supervisor said that they were going to have someone from the county come out, but not for a few hours. He offered to check if there was a room we could move to.
Staff eventually moved us to a nice renovated room, but we should have never been put into that unit to begin with. And if they didn't have a room right away, they should have told us of the issue before we checked in.
