Disappointing

We have stayed with a cheaper chain hotel next door which was easily better.

Unfortunately our stay here was poor, we had a problem which we spoke to the manager about. We suggested some help for other guests, at this point the manger was aggressive. Then our breakfast was average at best!! Never again!!!

The manager!!!!!! Your response, lies!!!!!!! Broken lift no signage to help guests, I suggested a sign, then you questioned if I'd had a bad day!!!!!

Overall a fantastic time away, we stayed here for 2 nights and I couldnt fault it at any point.

Firstly the staff were fantastic with us on our arrival. The room was very clean and the view was great! Breakfast was a buffet of cooked english breakfast or continental so options for everyone. Parking was very easy for us as I do normally worry about where I leave my car, however this was no problem at all. For the price theres nothing better out their, Highly reccomend to anyone wanting to visit Newcastle as the weatherspoons and hard rock cafe is 2 mimutes down the road too!

Couldnt possibly think of any problems had a great stay.

As usual, a very comfortable stay in Newcastle. Very enjoyable

We've used the Copthorne many times. It's got great views across the Tyne. It's very close to the City Centre within easy walking distance for most people. There also multiple restaurant types and pubs within easy reach. if you're there when the weather is good, a short Metro journey or drive to the coast i.e. Tynemouth, South Shields etc. is also worth doing. Very helpful and pleasant staff

I chose to upgrade to a Club room on a higher floor as a treat for my wife, but since our last visit a few months ago, some of the Club benefits have changed i.e. you don't get the fluffy dressing gowns in the room now. Not earth shattering but it was those little things over an ordinary room that will make a difference on choices for next time.
