    No private lounge for guests I dont like self service breakfasts and coffee machines. Would also benefit from an egg counter.

    Stayed at this hotel as we needed a convenient stop on the way to Edinburgh with parking facilities. The room, facilities and breakfast were all very good.
    No complaints at all.

    Fantastic very clean hotel the breakfast was first class with lots of choice. Staff very friendly especially the cleaning ladies who went above and beyond for us.
    Requested twin bedded room. One very comfortable superkingbed which wasn't a problem really but should I have been travelling with friends would have been disappointed. No.mirror near the desk for blowdying hair. You had to stand up near the wardrobe. Not as user friendly as or design. Saying that the rooms were very comfortable, stylish and would definitely stay again

    Just a short distance from the nearby A1 junction, perfect if you are travelling further north; also easy to get into Newcastle city centre with good road connection and a metro station about 15min walk away; ample free parking; helpful staff at reception

    Very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
    We have stayed at this hotel a number of times now and it is always our first choice when staying in Newcastle. The room is comfortable and modern. Everything you may need is provided, tea, coffees, iron, hairdryer and safe. The bed is very comfortable. Spacious bathroom with good shower and plenty of toiletries. Self controlled heating and heated towel rail. The staff are very friendly and professional. The attached bar and restaurant are an added bonus. Great food and drink and good value.
    There is plenty of lighting in the room but the lighting is quite dim. Could do with a bit more clothes storage. It's fine for a couple of days but any longer could be a space issue.

    A brilliant little hotel in Newcastle
    Really excellent hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. We needed to stay an additional night unexpectedly and were grateful to be able to stay in the same room.
    This is a really great hotel! Our only minor criticism would be that the breakfast wasn't quite as good as we remembered from a previous stay. The items cooked to order were excellent but some of the hot items from the buffet were a bit soggy.

    Had a brilliant time. It was our 44th wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of our stay.
    Breakfast was excellent I had smashed avocado and one day and 3 egg omelette the next day My husband had the full English breakfast.
