Lovely hotel Great location would visit again

Overall hotel lovely staff welcoming and friendly Really close to.metro station Great for travelling to newcastle

Room too small for a double. The tv was too close to end of bed and we kept knocking it every time we squeezed past ( and we are both average build ) just a bit too snug for us however wel try a larger next time.

Enjoyed it, and if was coming to the area again, would definitely recommend this hotel.

We wanted basic and comfortable accommodation for a 1 night stopover. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us as we arrived early: we felt valued. The room was comfortable and spotless. Plenty of parking spaces. The view was not relevant to us ... we did not expect a fantastic view for what we had paid. The view was fine for our requirements.

The lighting where the dressing table was could have been brighter ... the bathroom lighting was OK, but maybe just one area where a brighter light could be situated for putting makeup on, would have been good. But we managed fine.
