Loved the pool, being allowed to check in early, having an oceanview. Housekeeping staff were lovely, did an awesome job and were friendly
Only tea and coffee facilities, reception staff werent very friendly.

The location is excellent. The hotel is just a few step from Light Rail station.
I could catch Train from Brisbane Airport and catch Light Rail to the hotel worry-free.
The buffet brekkie is lovely and offers a wide variety of salad, toast, hot food, etc.
The room is clean and well-maintained.
The drainage in the bathroom might be a problem. It seems that odour comes out from the drain all the time.

We liked it but we had no TV channels for 4 days they claimed it was due to the storm???
Breakfast was ok quality was average compared to many other hotel buffet varieties where good
We ate at the restaurant every night and it is way under staffed! And menu is very small the first 2 nights we where bought sparkling water we always started with the bread and dips! Then the quality and service disappeared? We had to ask for plain water and we where brought terrible dips?? Instead of the usual olive oil with vinegar and spices to dip the bread in we was served straight vinegar with warm water it was disgusting I complained then we was served the most spicy chilly dip that was beyond crazy so we refused to eat it but we still paid for it? It just got sad!

Disappointing
The stay was very stressful as I had been charged twice for my room. It took two days of phone calls to speak to someone
Room was Ok but very expensive stay at $512 night. Nothing special!
I am from NSW and had to stay in hotel as I was involved in the hurricane that hit the Gold Coast on Xmas day. Not impressed with the customer service.

Great room, friendly staff, but not always available (short-staffed)
The room and bathroom were fabulous - so spacious, airy, plenty of natural light, great views. I loved it. The staff was so friendly and helpful.
I'd actually give the hotel 8 stars for the following reasons, but settled on 9 stars for the lovely staff and great room: The bed was too soft and lumpy - my husband has a bad back, he couldn't get comfortable and couldn't sleep much. The walls must be quite thin - next-door neighbors were so noisy all night, until well past midnight. Also, they often seemed so short-staffed: I called reception / housekeeping a few times when I needed something, waited on the line for about 10 minutes and could not reach anyone so took the lift down to the reception - there was no one there behind the counter and a queue of customers waiting. This happened a few times.

I booked 2 nights but due to flight cancellation I stayed for one, manager insisted on charging for both nights.

Very convenient situated between Surfers and Pacific Fair. The tram was right outside so we parked the car and didn't use it until it was time to go home.
We could only get Channel 10 on the TV even though other channels were on in the bar.

Good value for money, service is undesirable.
Loved the discounted brekky and the poolside entertainment. Location was fab, only a short walk to Broadbeach and Surfers.
Wasn't a fan of the pricey parking and the concierge was never available, we had to physically pop down to reception multiple times due to the concierge phone line being unavailable for 20-30mins at a time and then the hostility and poor customer service from the Indian attendant was appalling.

Clean, good facilities, close to restaurants
Breakfast was great, location close to restaurants.
There was a mix up with the room and for 4 guests there was only one bed. Took a few phone calls to get the matter resolved. Once it was resolved, it exceeded my expectations.
