The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Airport has a great and friendly staff, and its location is convenient. The rooms are clean and surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to the airport (Read More). There is a shuttle service available. One reviewer noted that their room had an updated door with some noise issues, but overall it did not affect their stay. Another reviewer had a great night's sleep and praised the cleanliness and amenities of the rooms, giving a shoutout to Nathaly for a job well done.

The worst in town stay of our life the switch up from hell.

The fire pit

I didn't like that I wasn't told or informed that I wouldn't be getting the room I paid for, I thought they reserved the rooms. But they switched our room without warning. I truly want my money back because we could have stayed home just for a room.

Disappointing

Its a very disappointing experience and I wouldnt recommended it to my friends.

The location next to JAX which makes it convenient for a late flight.

The front desk staffs. We requested a room on the top floor with a balcony or patio. We were given a second-floor room in the old section of the hotel which is similar to an old motel. The building has only 2 floors with everything looks very run-down. One of the drapes has 2 big holes in it (see photos). I know the woman at the front desk lied when she said there was no room left in the new section. She just gave the man before us a room on the fifth floor of the new building. Both women at the front desk (one a night clerk and the other in the morning) were very rude to me. I usually stay at one of the Marriott hotel chains which never had any problem. This time I wanted to try the Hilton chain because its close to JAX since we arrived from Ireland very late (past midnight). The only thing that saves this hotel is the cleanliness. The rest made me feel like we would have been better off staying at a Motel 6. Never again. Im very disappointed.

I really did like the front desk ladies they where great had all the answers for my questions. Very friendly!

It wasn't much a didn't like the smell to me was not hotel fresh it was musty smelling almost moldy that was a concern

I stay at this hotel twice a year when I travel to Jacksonville and I am always pleased.

Close to the airport, clean, comfortable, on site restaurant with helpful staff and great food. Hotel Staff were all helpful and friendly.

The bed, I think that you need NEW mattresses. The bed had a lot of dips in it, I could tell what spot everyone slept in.
