    Dunstan House is a lovely pub with guest rooms offering excellent decor and a delicious cooked breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were warm and cosy with nice toiletries. The varie (Read More)d menu with excellent quality food and drinks was praised. The Youngs pub and hotel had clean, modern rooms and a great bar with upmarket food options. Friendly and attentive staff, within walking distance to the beach.

    A welcome break before Christmas, and great food.
    Breakfast was delicious, and cooked to order, so it's well worth the wait. The evening meal we had was exceptional, the fish and chips, and belly pork were wonderful. Meals were a fair price, for what you get.
    The canned music whilst we were having breakfast, session-singers singing 'the greats'. When we went to the bar, on our last evening, for a meal, the noise from other customers was awful, we had to shout to be heard.

    Friendly staff. Warm cosy room. Lovely decor. Delicious cooked breakfast.
    There was only a single room left and the bed was up against the wall. I would try and book a double next time.

    Sadly didn't get any sleep due to the annoying green light and won't be back.
    The Pub was good with friendly staff and other customers (regulars)
    There is a very annoyingly placed green emergency exit light that bathes the whole room in a green glow. Almost impossible to sleep in a room so bright that we may as well have not bothered to close the curtains. We asked the staff about it and they simply said - "We know" (and can't or won't do anything about it)! It's a real shame because the room was comfortable - the staff friendly and helpful - the location was ideal.

    Room was very comfortable and the food was exceptional, with had dinner and breakfast both were excellent and value for money. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

    A good place to stay for a short break.
    The room and bed were a good size, as was the bathroom. We had a free-standing shower, which performed well. The breakfast and evening meal were very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
    We would have liked two comfortable chairs in the room (who wants to lie on their bed all afternoon and evening!). There was only one hard chair in front of the table. However, we noticed two chairs in the lobby area and so we took them into our bedroom until we left the following day. It would have been nice to have had biscuits included on the complimentary tea and coffee tray, most places provide this nowadays.
