    Very nice stay
    The hotel has a very vintage vibe which is very nice. It's located by the river, at a close proximity to city center. The room was very cozy, and they are very generous on the tea/coffee selection which is a very important detail in my books

    Cute little old pub stay
    Loved the location by the river, which looked gorgeous at night time. Warm and friendly pub. Staff were lovely.
    A little noisy in the evenings, and we found that the old sash window in the bedroom shook with the wind at night. It was particularly windy during our stay, though. Other than that we loved it.

    The staff were amazing super friendly and accommodating... squeezed our family four on a table on a busy Saturday night and even got us a bigger table when some friends turned up....

    A pleasant stay at a well maintianed pub/hotel
    We enjoyed our time at this hotel, room was spacious and comfortable and was not impacted by any noise from the hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The meals were good pub food with plenty of choice.
    The meals were good but not great - apart from this the hotel met our expectations

    disappointing and expensive
    location
    car parking was very difficult on arrival, had to park near road next to tables, told couldn't park there, where else could we park. Hotel staying guests ought to have parking reserved. Went to the reception, check in desk, nobody present, had to ask a couple of people at the bar if it was the correct place, to be told someone would be there at some stage. After about 5 minutes a staff member did arrive. Room was adequate. Breakfast was good but dining room ought not to allow dogs as hairs could be seen floating in the air. Good that it is dog friendly but not where people are eating. Disappointed and expensive. The management need to decide, is the facility a hotel with a bar and restaurant in which case the staying hotel guests ought to be perceived and treated much better, or is it a bar/restaurant with a few room for sale, in which case, this should be made clear in the hotel marketing.

    Great place. Went for a 1st date. Grear bar, restauranr and hotel. Will defo be back!
    Our table was given away even though we were early. Then waited a hour for another table and had to ask 4 times before we got seated. So did take a good hour of our evening away. Every other second was great
