    The host was prompt in communication and the location of the apartment on Umdloti Beach is prime, offering beautiful sea views. The apartment is upmarket, homely, and has comfortable beds. It is conv (Read More)eniently located near the promenade and lighthouse, allowing for easy access to nature reserves and cafes. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. Overall, guests had a great time and would visit again, praising the entertainment options and overall experience.

    We loved the time spent at this holiday home and was centrally situated. The views were Spectacular.
    The Property was perfectly situated for all amenities including restaurants, the beach and the promenade.

    Worse weekend ever!!!
    The view. Nothing else.
    Numerous baby cockroaches EVERYWHERE!!!!! The DSTV that didn't work because of the crappy buffering wifi. The rain coming in and flooding the apartment. The tram not working on Saturday and Sunday and having to walk up 4 flights of steeps stairs Pots and pans are disgusting barring 1. 2 teaspoons in an apartment that caters for 6. Two of the sofas have loose legs. The advert mentions shower twice, yet there is only one. The advert mention toiletries including bath soap. There was no bath soap either and only two toilet rolls for the entire weekend. The patio roof is loose and rattled throughout the day and night, with the wind making it difficult to even fall asleep. The gas braai is filthy. Some of the dinner plates are chipped and cracking.

    The smell of the apartment. There was rust on the stove and most of the things in there are rusty as well this place needs renovations

    Was absolutely lovely! Besides a few issues as listed above, if theyre sorted, will definitely use the apartment again!
    The views were brilliant.!!!! Location to the beach, room Space and general apartment space. 2 bathrooms definitely helped! The air con helped with heating up the unit. Was amazing, we didnt feel cold at all!
    The cleanliness - there was a musky smell in the rooms The bedding didnt smell clean and fresh, in fact were also musky. Felt it at night especially when you were asleep. The muskiness was getting to my sinuses. There was a throw in one of the cupboards that looked mouldy which we left in the bathroom floor when we left, to be washed for your next guests The patio wasnt cleaned. I would have assumed that if check in is at 14:00, the helpers wouldve cleaned the patio on that day. Not even the table and chairs were cleaned. The house on the inside was generally clean. Floors, kitchen, rooms, bathrooms. It was all neat! Cockroaches is a problem - perhaps fumigation is in order. Monkeys ransacked our unit - all Doors and windows were closed before we headed off to the beach. But the patio sliding door has a gap at the bottom, which they spotted and pulled open the door. Everything was eaten, house was a mess and they pood all over. This is something you cant control, but perhaps have someone look at the door to ensure it closes all the way from top to bottom.
