Two issue I had with the services:
1. The room was freezing, it is winter and the room had A/C on instead of heat. Guests had no control over the temperature thermostat, because its controlled by management.
2. I went to have breakfast and the staff are talking over the food having conversations and joking around while organizing it on the counter. One of the staff had a cough and was not wearing a mask and was coughing openly over the food while organizing it in the heated containers and on the counter. She never once contained her cough, instead she just coughed openly over the food.
That turned me off completely and I threw my food in the garbage and took my family somewhere else to eat. This is very important to take hygiene and hygienic health seriously. Because what she did was 100% unacceptable and I was going to address her in front of everyone, but I did not.
Because everyone was there eating from the food she was coughing over. Instead I walked away and went somewhere else. This was my first time staying at the Fairfield and I left with a negative impression of what happened. Word of mouth and social media takes down any business. The experience overall was very good.
The facility was very clean, maintained and well kept. Which impressed me a lot why I finished my stay there. I have stayed in most of the hotels in Niagara Falls and decided to try out the Fairfield this trip. I think the hotel needs to make this back up to me. I never created any scene to let anyone leave, instead I kept it to myself and did what was best for me and my family.
