    If in Istanbul in the future, I would definitely stay here.
    We checked into The Garden House on the last leg of our Turkey trip. We were very tired after a 12-day tour of this beautiful country. So as we walked into the lobby of The Garden House, the welcoming smile of the staff was like the warmest welcome. The check-in and the help with the luggage were a huge blessing, as some of our 9-member group were elderly. Not to mention the delicious banana cake and coffee free for the guests. We were upgraded from an economy room to a suit. And it was very spacious, and comfortable. Our room opened out to a quaint lane from where you could see the shops and the early morning baker stopping by. The breakfast was royal:-) the choice for vegetarians was really good, with fresh fruit, salads, dips, cheese, etc. Eggs cooked to one's preference were an added delight! The staff in the restaurant was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant prices for dinner were a little on the higher side, though the food was excellent. We will recommend this place to others.

    The approach to the hotel is through a steep lane from one side, which might be a problem if there are elderly people in a group. For us it was not an issue.

    Best place with a homely feeling!!
    There is nothing not to like about this place. The place gave a homely feeling. Since this place did not have an elevator, I had requested a room with fewer steps for my mom who has difficulty with stairs. They said they will try their best and when we checked in, we got a room with very few stairs. The reception was very welcoming. I did not at any time had to call reception asking for this or that. Our stay was just pleasant. We were here 3 nights. The hotel owns a restaurant which is adjacent to the hotel which is very nice mostly coz of the food and also convenience The room had all the antique look and feel.. something like living in a room at the palace super clean sheets and comfy bed. The staff were very kind to help us with the luggage and most importantly everyone here is always smiling be it any hour of the day The place gets booked really quick so better to plan ahead. They helped us arrange airport pick-up and drop, Bhosphorous tour etc.. they did not push but gave us options which is nice. If again, I visit Istanbul will not look any further and will be more than happy to stay here. Regards, Sowmya

    The room we stayed was the Family room and it is very spacious. The room numbers were 221 and 222. We initially booked for double room and one family room. But the hotel staff very kind enough to us to provide us with two family room next to each other as we were 6 in total- 3 kids and 3 adults. The room king size bed and one single bed. We also had balcony and the view was super. The breakfast was excellent as it was customised. The cake and cookies were so delicious. They also have a cloak room where you can keep your baggage at check out and take it later. Also the staff was very helpful to carry baggage to our rooms and at check out. I recommend Garden House because close to all prominent place and for nigh walk with food street. We really enjoyed and Thanks to the staff.
