A very disappointing experience. There were multiple issues with cleanliness and overall management.
I had asked in the notes through the Bookings.com website that the sofa bed be available to use. Although there was an extra duvet and sheets in the wardrobe (blocking any hope of hanging clothes in there) the coffee table was far too heavy to move. Hence impossible to use the sofa bed. Terrible design choice.
The cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory. None of the surfaces (nor the floors) were cleaned while we stayed at the hotel - for three nights. Glass rings, finger smudges were extremely evident. The bathroom sink had no cover on the overflow hole - not very nice when you are looking at black mould. This should have been cleaned.
I had to ask three times for the coffee and creamers to be replenished in the room. This was over two days.
When checking we were given a number to text should we need anything during our stay (no people to talk to?) - I tried this number and got a message saying "sorry, this service is temporarily unavailable, please try later" what was supposed to happen in an emergency? Absolutely shocking service.
Cleaning was terrible - a pillow was left lying on the floor, dirty glass, used for red wine so obviously dirty, left on the coffee table. There were multiple stains on the carpet which needed cleaning and no cleaning of the surfaces.
I would expect drapes to be reset each day by the cleaners, this was not done during the entire stay.
When we arrived we were given "complimentary drinks" vouchers. This was a lovely surprise and I was looking forward to a glass of wine. However, we were only given an option of High Noon vodka drinks. As I don't drink vodka and was not allowed any other option this was pretty worthless.
Additionally we booked dinner in Limozeen. An extremely limited menu, we order a "grazing board" - meat, cheese, grapes and blueberries.
