The management and maintainance of the facilities is not reliable at all. Prior to our arrival, we were called that the lift isn't working and an engineer will be there to fix them right away but a little later, we receive a message saying that it turns out it will not be fixed it 5 days. I called and complained that we have a number of heavy luggages that we didn't expect to carry all the way up and we need help to carry them if the lift isn't working. But only a person shows up to help us and seemingly to be the only one in charge of the housekeeping and management of the guests. So we have to carry our luggages upstairs ourselves and downstairs when we check out. I do understand that it was prior to new year's eve and it was hard to find staff to work during the week but at least an early maintainance and emergency prepness for the site should be done early on to prevent this from happening. Because personally I feel like we have to spend money, energy, and time to deal with all the things that shouldn't be our problem in the first place.
Also we booked 2 rooms:
1st room problem:
The hot water by the kitchen sink didn't work and the shower's temperature was not consistent. My husband called them during night-time to sort this out ourselves with their instructions but in the end we were told to have the engineer or handyman to look at the problem the next day. However, they never arrive.
2nd room problem:
no washing liquid for the sink so I called them and asked for it but it never came even after I called back a couple of times.
All in all, it's just a shame that such a great place to stay is poorly managed and not well-maintained (facilities). Otherwise it would have been a recommendably perfect place to stay.
