The room was filthy enough that we even questioned whether the sheets had been used by previous guests without being washed in between which resulted in a very uneasy nights sleep. Checked in past 9pm, go to take a shower first thing and discover two large palm sized globs of hair plastered to the shower wall. Tired from driving 10 hours into the night until we got to the hotel, we dont want to cause a fuss that late about an unclean shower, so we scrape previous guests hairballs off the shower with tissues and think were good. Get in the shower and there are more globs of other peoples hair all over the inside of the cloth shower curtain. Okso we just try not to touch it so we can shower and sleep. Should have contacted the front desk right away after all. Further use of the bathroom and room reveal filth left before our useprevious guests toothpaste spit along the sink backsplash, goop smeared across the mirror, other peoples hair on the floor, grape sized crumbs on the floor from previous occupant, and the ac never went below 73 degrees fahrenheit in the 12 hours we were in the room though we were assured by hotel staff the ac would go as low as 68. IF our room was cleaned at all, then the only cleaning that was done was the trash had been taken out and HOPEFULLY the sheets were changed. Sadly debatable but hey, at least the plastic bag of garbage was changed. Would rather have dealt with that instead of other peoples mounds of hair, spit, and old half eaten biscuit pieces under my bare feet. Number one filthiest hotel room I have ever checked into. Maybe they thought we wouldnt notice since we checked in so late? We should have said something asap but we know how consistently crappy people treat customer service and hospitality workers these days that we didnt want to make a fuss for the staff. Well guess its either that or toss and turn in a filthy hotel room all night all the while questioning whether youre sleeping in someone elses used sheets!
