Exceptional
The staff was so kind, as I was visiting my sick sister in the hospital.
Staff was attentive. Breakfast had wonderful offerings. The physical space was lovely.
Would be great to have more hooks in the room for hanging up pajamas and wet bathing suits, along with more hangers in the closet.

Perfect place for a relaxing break
The staff are a credit to the hotel, courteous and friendly. Very professional. The gardens are very impressive with live animals and well maintained
Over reliance on single use plastic items such as salt, pepper, sauces, straws, drink stirs etc. A hotel of this calibre shouldnt be using these. Food fairly average, expected better.

Worth the price and close to simple shopping
Excellent location, spacious, comfortable, lots of beds at the pool and a safe space by the beach. It was clean and all indoor places had blasting AC to beat the 107F weather. To get to my room, there was no indoor passage, so the 3min walk was heavy on the heat hahaha.
Food was good, buffet breakfast and lunch, and a l carte dinner. Optional all inclusive or pay per meal. Lunch and Dinner were typically around $35 per person. I consider it a little pricey considering so many restaurants nearby, but the food was good and the comfort worth it.
Room was good, bed was fairly comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. Hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath gel, hair dryer, and safe in the closet. The spa is small but with different massage services, Turkish bath and hot tub.
The room is equipped with a mini bar with drinks and snacks, at hotel price, good to get when in a rush, but I suggest walking out to the pharmacy less than 2 blocks away that is open 24 hours. Youll get the same at more than half the price.
The bellboys at the entrance are so helpful and very kind, either helping you or guiding you around the hotel. They also assist in getting you a taxi to get around.
The hotel is well located by Bocagrande beach (hotel has a private area with lounge chairs and restaurant), and close by to the city with restaurants, souvenir shops, pharmacies and stores. There is also a small shopping mall within walking distance.

There wasnt an indoor passage to the building with rooms. Front desk could be more attentive and informative.

Requested a garden view, had to keep window shut the whole time because it was on the main floor and where the workers were working, you were also able to see the main road . Also did not like the bathroom, there wasnt a space to place soap after use

Disappointing
For this price, definitely have so much more options. It was worse than our stay in an airbnb in cartegena town.
Bed is comfortable, garden is beautiful and diverse.
Very dated facilities and design, shower head was broken and water spilled everywhere. Hot water need a long time to come out. Breakfast is too simple as a five star hotel. There were different kinds of bugs anywhere even inside of the bathroom. The Internet was the worst I ever had, cannot connect most of the time and it loads website for 2 minutes. I ended up using my phone data and it was expensive.
