The Hotel Indigo Asheville Downtown offers a great location with easy access to downtown attractions. The valet parking and cafe/bar staff provide excellent service, and the breakfast is delicious. H (Read More)owever, some guests experienced issues with the room temperature taking a while to warm up and the trim around the baseboard falling apart. The decor was described as contemporary but lacking warmth and color. On the positive side, the hotel is pet-friendly and conveniently located near restaurants and breweries. Some guests suggested improvements in bathroom cleanliness and the quality of in-room coffee. Overall, the stay was enjoyable.

I felt ripped off did not get what I paid for
Not as described to
We booked an assessable penthouse instead we just got a regular assessable suite not what I paid for. Also, it said it came with breakfast and a half board which typically means dinner and they said oh no that they didnt have a restaurant for dinner. The room was not in the best shape the stains on the carpet and furniture and the tables were all scratched up. also, the phone didnt work.

The view and layout of the room, and staff was excellent
There was hair on the toilet and bathroom floor the windows were really dusty and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month

Overall it was great.
The staff were wonderful. The decor was excellent for this price point. It was a good value. Loved that it was pet friendly.
Breakfast was overpriced. The website said self park but its $25/night valet parking plus tip.

Couldnt have wished for a better view.
Our room was AMAZING! Corner penthouse the view was outstanding.
Pull out sofa in the living room by the fireplace was very uncomfortable.

Staff overall was welcoming & efficient!!!
Breakfast was a bonus. Breakfast staff was efficient & nice. Valet parking staff was AMAZE BALLS!!! On top of it and we made multiple trips per day during our 4 day there.
Its not that I didnt like it, the decor was interesting but not as interesting as some other hotels we had stayed at recently. ie bathroom wall color w/ tile in bathroom & accent wall in room seemed not the correct shade of periwinkle in keeping with the rug color.

Location was great! The hotel was less than 2 blocks from Harrah's Cherokee Center where we attended a concert.
