Happy to get a last minute deal. Good price for a 4 star. But, not the most comfortable/convenient.

Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly.

1) I didnt realize we had to make reservations for lunch as a guest. We were turned away. 2) The location is good for being able to park but not close enough in proximity to downtown Bilbao (even though it is listed as good location). A taxi ride to the Guggenheim is 20 one way. 3) Our room was boiling hot with no ability to put the air conditioning on. Toasty and nice for winter for sure, but not great for in between season weather. 4) The beds are very hard. Would be nicer to have a little softer.

The property is well located with bars and tapas nearby. We stayed the night before taking the ferry. Secure car parking a bonus along with the option to book a room & parking rate is a good thing.

Nothing we didnt like, this was our second stay. Would be helpful for the hotel to post What3words for the access to the car park as it is behind the hotel and on a one-way system. We found it first time but only because I had checked it out in advance in google maps & street view.
