Howfield Manor Hotel is described as an old motel with a good location near Canterbury and a nice breakfast. The rooms are old but clean. Superb

Lovely Hotel to Spend a weekend getaway with your partner

New Years Dinner was great, very gourmet and delicious. A little bit expensive but it was really good food.

Rooms are very close to each other so you can here noises from another room

We stayed for New Years Eve, in spite of the hotel being busy it was very quiet. We always have a lovely stay at Howfiel

Stylish & comfortable accommodation. Great facilities & staff. Would recommend.

Extremely comfortable accommodation. Very tentative staff. Wonderful facilities. Great breakfast. Very impressed, hence, we have stayed here on 2-3 separate occasions. Would recommend.

Building has characteristics and country view. Attentive staffs. Car park space. Location we loved Kent countryside.

IMRG Foundry xmas party

Had xmas party function room was ideal for our needs great location period building Great staff ok breakfast average.good value.

Room was a bit average poor shower more of a dribble pillows felt like sand bags due to age of place floors were very squeeky Our xmas meal was ok but they need to up there game potatoes under cooked puddings were dry and disapointing. Ok for 1 night wouldnt stay longer.

Had a lovely time and really enjoyed Canterbury which is a 10 minute taxi ride away

Room was very comfortable, but a bit cold on arrival. Turned on the radiators ourselves. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and staff were lovely.

We were warned about the Christmas party but the music was LOUD! DJ finished on time, but might be a bit much for some.

Quirky property. Great accommodation, food and staff (including Charmy, who made our stay wonderful)

First impressions were amazing with parts of the building being many 100's of years old and full of character. We were given a huge room and the ensuite included a full-sized bath. Breakfast was cooked to order and was perfect.

Puddles in the gravel car park. Maybe drainage could be improved? But truly a minor point relative to the amazing time we had during our stay.

Very enjoyable stay

Lovely building and grounds. Short drive to Canterbury and the coast. Very comfortable room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food good quality and varied menu.

Water pressure low in bathroom, but this can be the case with old buildings.

Enjoyed our stay. Great base for exploring this part of Kent.

The hotel is located about 3 miles from Canterbury centre with no bus service. There is however a park and ride at Wincheap for 4/day with very frequent bus service into town centre. The breakfasts at the hotel are excellent and the dinner menu good value for money.
