The H�tel Tandem - Boutique H�tel is a conveniently located establishment, close to the train station and within walking distance of the historic area of Strasbourg. The rooms, although clean, were d (Read More)escribed as gloomy and dark due to the black and dark-colored decor. However, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was praised for its organic and homemade options. The staff received high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. Some minor issues mentioned were the lack of heating during cold weather, noise from ventilation panels, and a dated design.

Christmas Market Escape

This hotel made our Christmas Market Trip even more special. The staff were so helpful, everything at breakfast was handmade and the room was very comfortable. We really loved the filtered water machines and how quality and sustainability were built into every part of the hotel. It was also very nicely decorated for Christmas so even after the day out at the market, the festive feel kept going.

Some details could use some refining to make the room more comfortable. For instance, there is no space to put your toiletries in the bathroom because it is so small. Even space for two toothbrushes was a struggle. The TV only had 2 channels in English, both news channels and subtitles and dubbing didn't work. The TV was also incompatible with casting and had no streaming available. We would have loved to get back from the markets and thrown on a Christmas movie while winding down.
