    Great location one block away from the Capitol and Union station. Includes a mini-grocery inside for snacks, coffee and other travelling essentials. Very friendly staff.

    There is no value for money.
    Hotel locality
    Staff were not friendly. Limited options for breakfast. Breakfast area is small for such a big hotel. Every time we had to wait for breakfast. Electric kettle was not there in the room and not provided even after asking.

    Great location, but everything else was a disappointment for the price.
    The hotel is just a couple blocks away from the US Capitol building and also, DC Union Station if you need to travel out of the city. The Article 1 Restaurant in the lobby had decent food, but was overpriced for what it was.
    The room was tiny, noting like the pictures on line. The beds were decent, but the pillows were awful to sleep on. They acted almost like they were full of kinetic sand n that you could shape them for how you wanted initially, but they would just gl flat and hard as you payed on them. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection of food, but i have had tastier and better cooked food at a Holiday Inn, not to mention that the buffet was not inclusive to the $400+/night room. I expected way better. The pool was just a stainless steel pot that was very small. No hot tub or sauna to help relax from long days walking the Capitol Mall.

    my stay was pleasant
    I liked the room. it was comfortable and clean
    when I checked at 1pm, my room had the smell of cleaning detergent. maybe the staff had just finished cleaning but the smell was overwhelming
