The adjacent mall is nice as well as the view of the Credk with several restaurants offering great dining options
There is a lovely bar overlooking the creek where you can have good and drinks. Everyone was very courteous and helpful.
When we first arrived they didnt have my room and there was a mix up with my pick up at the airport. They changed my room to the one I paid for with the view the next day and sent complimentary fruit and chocolates.

The room (we stayed in the standard one) is spacious and well equipped. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options in Anise restaurant were more than generous. I assume hotel was full due to the holiday season, but the staff managed this very well - no queues and crowds. Responses from concierge, housecleaning and room service were quite fast. Location is really convenient - close to the airport (10 min drive) and to the downtown (15 mins to Dubai Mall). Adjacent Festival Mall also offers good shopping options and some entertainment for kids.

We had the club room and a view of the Marina. It was amazing. The club room package offers great add-ons, although we were only able to take advantage of this once, due to our hectic schedule.
It was just too busy and there were queues for breakfast.

Intercontinental Dubai Festival City- Caltech CEO
Especially the Room Service staff were excellent
The front desk didn't add my IHG account to one of my stays. I stayed twice recently in November and December 2023
