The location was good with spectacular views. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially in the Club and the Gusto restaurant where the food was delicious.

Our housekeeper was exceptionally nice
The poor area is small , as its a popular hang out area, as it has lovely sky views of Dubai.

I checked in on 27th December and we went to their rooftop restaurant Gusto, we asked them that we want to book for NYE table, they took down my details and said they will call me. Next day I checked out and went to a different 5 star hotel in Dubai only, I was hoping that someone from Rotana will call me to confirm my NYE booking- but they didnt, so I called them the next day morning- they again took down my name, number and email ID and said they restaurant reservation will call me soon, again they did not. The entire day went by - I called them at night - same cycle got repeated everytime. Now its already 30th December and I am still waiting for them to confirm my NYE booking. Absolutely pathetic service for a 5 start hotel. They should be ashamed of calling them a 5-star they are a disgrace in the name of service especially the GUSTO restaurant. I have called 910 times in last 3 days and since I call using my international number it charges me huge for each minute and all that money wasted for nothing as clearly the ROTANA staff or management dont care about how frustrated you feel. They will just say sorry for the inconvenience and move on what else you can do beside giving 0 start for their service.

We would definitely stay again. The hotel is in a great location. The staff are exceptional.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. Clean linen and towels, and the room was a good size. The hotel staff were extremely helpful organising taxis for us and excursions. We loved the location and spent our last day visiting Old Dubai and travelling on Old Dubai Creek. Easy access to Dubai Marina (taxi or train - we did both) and to the Dubai Mall area. Recommend the buffet breakfast.
