The Laundry service could be improved, I was there on an emergency. I had very few cloths with me. I needed to laundry every other day, but the service is not available in the week end.

Superb
We have stayed at 3 properties at the MD Anderson medical center and this is our favorite.
Cheerful lobby. The breakfast was delicious and staff served us so cheerfully, even after we were 15 min late for breakfast service.
The room was clean and bathroom a good size.
The mattress could have been a bit more firm and the linens were ok.

Breakfast expensive but good.
Location fine for Rice University & Medical Centre
Had to change rooms a couple of times due to noise from air con and condensers. Certain rooms were quite noisy compared to others. However, the staff were very helpful and understanding regarding relocating.
Bar area closed all too early for residents in my opinion.

Very easy to get around Houston. Close to Rice Village and reliable with Ubers. Bar had great food and drinks options.

Disappointing
True to brand, the property was beautiful. Rooms were clean and the location was centralized.
I asked to speak to management. The next day I asked again as there was no follow up. There were several questions that management could not answer, they committed to getting back to me and didn't. I am an ambassador and have stayed in 7+Intercontinental's in the past 14 months. Not only did I NOT get ambassador recognition, once I provided proof I was an ambassador, nothing changed. In comparison, this was by far my worst experience staying at an Intercontinental.
