I was driving south from central Oregon to San Diego and spent the night here. It was such a sweet surprise and by far one of the best hotels Ive stayed in. The value of the product was unexpected and so lovely. Id travel to Oakland just to stay here again. The motion lights under the bed , the reading lights, the dim lighting and third story terrace option, the bathroom designMAGNIFICENT

Except Im paying for a suite, Ill probably never be back. Rooms are as small as a box
Location and room service
Rooms are way too small. The fridges are also super tiny and cant hold anything. I was unable to connect to the smart apps (Netflix, YouTube etc) as the connection just never worked.

Excellent stay and a very nice hotel.
The staff were so great! The remodel is lovely. The room was clean and very comfortable.
Sound from the hallway really carried right into our room. It wasnt horrible just a little loud.

Location was near many bars and restaurants. The front doors need a code for entrance, this prevented random people from coming inside the hotel. The staff were helpful and guided me to where I can park my vehicle during my stay and provided me the information so I can enter my room. The actual rooms are not card keys but digital combo locks to enter. The actual room is more like a studio as in the shower is visible from where the bed is located. So depending on your room its good to know so you dont have to be naked near family members while trying to shower. Many selections of tv channels and the bed was very comfortable. I only stayed one night but I had no issues with outside noise. The hotel does provide earplugs to help mitigate noise congestion from the local pubs.

The room service shouldnt be classified as room service. No plate or silverware to eat the runny egg and a bowl meal?? You should ask people if they want real plates or to go boxes, we would have just come downstairs and eaten.
