    Pleasant place to stay in Oakland!
    Like how convenient it was to everything we wanted to do while we were in the city.
    There was a smell of cannabis in the hall the whole two days we were there, it was just stinky.

    The location was excellent! We were seeing a comedy show at the paramount theater & it was in walking distance from our hotel. They have a night life with a full bar and DJ downstairs in the hotel.
    The bed was kinda hard, but it wasn't bad. Cold floors, they should offer complimentary slippers. There's no bathtub, but there is a huge beautiful shower. Valet parking is $45 & that's with our handicap sticker!

    Wonderful, will stay here everytime I'm in Oakland!
    The location was great for us, we were there for a concert at the Fox Theater, so we were able to walk there which was a huge plus. It is close to so many food and shopping places as well, but my main thing when staying somewhere is the cleanliness, this place was spotless! A HUGE plus for me, so many times I stay somewhere that is rated high for cleanliness and it's rarely ever the case. Here it was 10/10!

    A Hipster Hotel
    I like that it was pretty close to the 19th Street Bart Station. The hotel was clean. Staff was efficient and customer-friendly. Security on site. Room was quiet at night, even with the party atmosphere going on in the lobby.
    Pretty sketchy neighborhood. No coffee in room (free coffee in lobby, however). Shower water pressure was super low.

    Great location and a really friendly staff. Everyone was kind and incredibly helpful. Bag storage and lots of room to sit in the lobby took this stay to the next level.

    It smelled like pot on our floor. Also when I booked it I payed extra for a view and we were looking at the back of buildings. Also our bathroom fan didnt work.

    Clean and comfortable rooms but
    The hotel is located at what feels like the edge of Oaklands uptown with clean rooms and just enough amenities - a wall of hooks but no closet, a mini fridge but no lounge chair, a small foldaway desk rather than a real desk - but nothing was lacking.
    The lobby bar is very popular and packed with locals at night which makes it very lively but crowded and music was loud. While it says parking is available, they only have valet parking at $40 per day. The front desk will also take a deposit upon check in for incidentals and return it in 2-3 days after check out. While check out is at noon, be aware that digital room keys will stop working after 11am.

    This is an immaculate hotel with very friendly staff! It is located about 2 blocks from the Fox & the Paramont Theatres. Both are great venues. The room is small with no comfortable chair, but is somehow perfect. We have never stayed in such a clean room! The bar and lounge area are great. Betty serves a great lemonchello marghareta. They have excellent flatbread pizzas that we had for dinner right at the bar. We highly recommend this Moxy if you plan to be out and about. If you like to stay in your room, the lounge is where you will be.
    The chair in our room was uncomfortable, but not a bother in the long run.
