First night stay was a nightmare .
The ambience was nice.
The room was beautiful , spacious and very clean room .
Emaka from house keeping was a star .
Sadly our first Night was a nightmare, we were told we couldnt check in due to some group of people refusing to check out . The lady attending to us did say they will check us into another hotel which is a 5 star , that didnt happen , we got dropped off VCP , nothing compare to what we paid for .
I had to kick a fuss about the room , the manager changed the room from double to a junior suit , we have so much complaints but that is not the hotel I paid for initially . The following day the driver did not come to pick us up and take us back to the continental hotel , the good thing is we had a car hire for the duration of time we stayed there . We demanded to speak to the general manager but that did not happen till we left for the UK. As much as we liked the hotel , I believe customer services skills is lacking to an extent. We made our reservation since July 2023 and still had issues on our first night .

Enjoyable but I had to ignore a lot of things to avoid coming across as complaining!!
Grand building but requires refurbishing.
Sewage smell in the bathroom. Breakfast needs to be more diverse. For the buffets, you often have to ask for food to be refilled.
The staff remuneration needs to be looked at. You feel like you have to tip everyone because they dont get paid well under the harsh economic climate in Nigeria!!!

It was a good and useful for the purpose I booked the stay
The breakfast was ok but not sure it was with my money. There was a huge variety but most of the food was too salty for my palate.
Waited quite a bit for the yam to be refilled
The AC was broken and we ended up waking up the kids to move at 2am. Some form of compensation should have been given.

Fair but horrible experience with parking and the front desk
Facilities are good and neat. Location is central in VI. The food is also good
Parking was a nightmare and the staff at the car park were extremely rude. They basically told me to drive out and leave the car park because there was no space and its not their fault. Didnt even try to provide a solution and warned me to not park in a free space. Check out was also same experience. I had informed upon check in that I was going to check out late. Anyways, two men come into my room to harass me to check out and say they dont have the information printed that Im checking out late, like that was my fault. They didnt even try to resolve the discrepancy at their end. They basically entered the room and wanted me out and spent the next few minutes talking about paying late check out fees
