The staff was very rude and unwelcoming. I had to beg to take just one photo with my spouse at their staircase with all the art works. This was a huge problem for them after paying almost N140,000 a night. They wanted me to pay N800,000 for a photo shoot which I declined as I wasn't there to do a photo shoot. They almost ruined our special day as I only stayed here due to the close proximity with the Ikoyi Registry. Coming from the United States where things are done sanely, this was a horrible experience. A picture with my spouse at their lobby was a huge problem for them and I see why many friends discouraged me from staying here. Whoever runs this place should check their staffs behavior as the nicest person to me and my wife here was the bar man who also confirmed to me their prices were outrageous and over priced. I mean I do not mind paying N140,000 a night as their ambience is good looking but they try to make you pay just to snap a photo or two. I have stayed at choice hotels round the world and taking pictures in any part of the hotel was never a problem. Also we couldn't get a good night sleep as there were mosquitoes in the room, for the price they charge this was ridiculous. Worst hotel experience ever and never again. I do not recommend staying here as they choose what they can make off you than caring about your comfort or having a good experience. 0 stars if I can rate that.
