Margaritaville is Paradise!
Felt warmly welcomed from the minute we drove up- the team at Margaritaville is amazing. The rooms are very nicely appointed, we only got the standard king suite and that was so great! Had a living area, along with a dining area, a wet bar, 65 inch TVs in living room and in the bedroom. Loved the double sink faucets - they were Fins!! (Fins to the left and to the right!), the comforters had parrots woven into the textile. Its the little touches!
The decor is lovely- fresh orchids and birds of paradise in the lobby.
The pool area was good- albeit crowded with kids. Adult time is 10-12pm - I dont know if that is enforced as I was not there past 10 pmbut they should if they arent (sorry kids!) The pool is heated and there is a spa. The workout room had treadmills and a cable workout set up. No free weights yet, I think those are coming. 65 inch TV in the workout room too!
We had drinks outside at Landshark Bar and Grill, there were fire pits and live DJ music. Very relaxing and enjoyable and such friendly service.
Communication with the hotel before, during and after our stay was great too.
Oh and for skiers like me- complimentary ski valet is the bomb!! The parking is $29 a day FYI, not bad for Tahoe!
I greatly enjoyed my stay- this place is well managed, the grand opening was well-executed.
Ill be back!!!

Not worth the value
The room is nice and the staff is helpful.
The price didnt include resort fee or parking, so theres $70 more you have to pay every day. Plus theres no microwave listed in the description. It costs another $25 if you need one.

Beautiful renovation. Great location.
Only valet available which is a little inconvenient. Not as family friendly as I had hoped since there are very thin walls and most rooms don't have sleeper sofa available like it used to be before renovated to new ownership. Security was called on us because my baby cried for a few minutes. She had already calmed but they came loudly knocking on door and almost woke her again. I could hear ppl loudly walking hallways, other children crying and dogs barking throughout night also and while I didn't call security on others it was off-putting to have it happen to us. We can even hear the loud music from lobby all the way to our room late at night.

Lovely stay in renovated property.
Lovely newly renovated property. Rooms were spacious with a separate living area, small kitchenette area (no cooking equipment though), a dining table, and a large bedroom with a desk. Facilities were great, our son enjoyed the indoor pool though us parents wish it were heated up more. We ate at two of the restaurants on site and enjoyed our meals. Location is amazing, right next to Heavenly Tahoe Village and across the street from the casinos. We had a quick walk to the Gondola.
Parking is valet only and pricey. At busy times it could be a bit of a wait for the car but the valets were hustling.

There was no mention the it was under construction, and that there were absolutely zero amenities available. it was a complete construction. zone. and there was no discount on our stay.

The stay was overall amazing and I definitely will keep coming back.
Everyone was just so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is just the best here.
I only had one issue but I think it was a user error maybe. There was one switch in my room that turned on every time I turned when I was sleeping. My boyfriend or I would just keep waking up to try different ways to turn it off and turn off the sensor switch but it didnt work. I cant complain too much cause we could have addressed it and Im sure the staff couldve helped us out. I would just ask about the light switches before trying to sleep if you arent tech savvy like me.

Location, atmosphere, staff. Cleanliness and dog friendly.
Shower was cold every time. I was giving wrong snowboard at checkout. Breakfast Buffett a little too expensive.
