This is a lovely place to stay, easily accessible from the airport.
The pool villa we stayed in was really lovely-particularly with two young active children! The pool and kids club was also good.
I was expecting and hoping for more activities run by the kids club. Some evening entertainment for kids or a 30-minute disco early evening (6pm) would be so wonderful for families.

A pleasant, luxurious and relaxing stay
Excellent facilities, swimming pool and beach is amazing and a few steps away. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Quite out the way, you need a bike to get around. Taxis from the hotel are expensive, in fact everything in the hotel is more expensive than outside.

Lovely hotel, great food and drink options on site. Location slightly out the way if you want to travel into the towns.
Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms and attentive staff. There is also a games box in the room available to guests!
Restaurant is also great food with lots of options.
The pool is right on the beach and there are sun-beds available on the beach too.
The location is little far out from the main towns such as Fishermans Village and Chaweng (the hotel does offer a shuttle service if booked a day in advance).
I wouldnt recommend staying here as a solo traveller as the roads to the hotel are dark country roads.
The TV was a very blurry picture.

Highly recommended resort - Hospitality from the heart
The location was excellent, a secluded private beach. Hospitality is truly from the heart here at Melati: the staff are very helpful and super friendly, the food is amazing, especially the Thai options. The view at breakfast makes you wake up early in the morning. There are so many great little details, like the beach bag, games to borrow and the shuttle service to Chaweng. Also the garden in which the rooms are location is so calming.
We also tried a Yoga class and kayaking/SUP to stay active during the holiday.
Very spacious and clean rooms with an amazing bathtub on the balcony.
Can only highly recommend this resort & location. We will definitely come again.

There is nothing that I would change - only recommending everyone staying to do something good for the environment and take some washed up trash from the beach.

Staff rude and any requests to reception took 30 mins to an hour. Staff was rude on so many occasions

Great stayed, peaceful and wonderful staff
It was tick of the boxes when we were looking. It was peaceful, quite and by the beach. We got there a bit early before check in time but the hotel was so kind let we checked early. We were so grateful for it. The all staff were so friendly and helpful. They did their best to make sure your stayed comfortable as possible.
Need a bit of maintenance as first room we checked it, the shower was leaking, toilet looked old could do with change toilet seat but soon we told them, they got staff came to look at it but it will take more than a hour to fix it so they moved us to next room least the 30 minutes.
