    The rooms are spacious, well presented and clean, lovely continental breakfast and cooked breakfast, good value for money. Having the bar and restaurant next door is handy but didn't use it, also walking distance to Ryton and bus stop outside.
    The main let down was the shower, shower head needs replacing and works off the bath taps and there was no pressure on the cold water which meant it was boiling hot shower or cold & trickling out, did mention it next day but wasn't resolved that night. Switches near the beds for the lights in the room would be more handy than at the front door and bedside table on both sides needed, with better location of plug sockets.

    Room was large and the bed was comfy. Car park is spacious and the staff were v nice. Dog friendly also a plus
    The room was a little dusty and there was a white mark down the side of the bed which made it look unclean even though Im sure it wasnt

    Loved that we could take our dog for no extra charge like some places, he also got a sausage for his breakfast! Added bonus as it was new year's eve we were treated to fireworks at midnight which was a lovely touch to see in the new year!

    Our christmas visit
    This was our fourth visit. We love this place. It's always warm and comfortable. The people who work there are always warm, kind and unbelievably friendly. We've already booked for next Christmas and can't wait.
    A little confused by the shower in room 4 and worried that the room was so wet. Think it was probably just us and we would probably have coped better with a shower cubicle.

    Fantastic family friendly place
    Wow, what a lovely place. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite and professional and welcoming. We had a meal in the restaurant and the staff were amazing, when the gentleman brought the wine over he made to teenagers smile.

    Fabulous food and a good night's sleep
    Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and great value. Really lovely ambience and friendly staff. Check in was straightforward and the room was excellent. Lots of space, big comfortable bed and very clean and peaceful so we slept well. So good to find somewhere pet friendly of this standard. Also a super, fresh cooked breakfast. We'll be back.
    Shower was erratic. However bath or as a great alternative with tons of hot water
